SLIP provides you with a few ways to reset or update your password. Expand the topics below for more information.
After clicking Change Password on the Change Password screen, the Home screen displays.
If assigned with the “Maintain Profile and Email notification Settings” permission, the logged-in user can also change their password via the Users tab, Location Users grid.
Password is case-sensitive and must be exact.
Passwords entered in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields must match.
Passwords expire after 90 days. If your password has expired, you will be prompted to create a new password on login.
Passwords must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least eight characters long.
- Cannot include the user name, display name, or full name.
- Cannot use more than two consecutive characters. For example, passwords that contain 567, 1234, 98765 or ABC are invalid, but passwords that use 12, RS, or 89 are valid.
- Cannot match any of the user’s last 10 passwords.
- Must contain three of the following four character groups:
- Uppercase letters
- Lowercase letters
- Numbers
- Special characters (such as !, $, #, %)
